Kodak Brownie 8 f2.7 8mm (Double 8) Movie Camera – Overview

In this video, Film Photography Project’s Owen McCafferty goes over (and loads) the classic Kodak Brownie 8! The Brownie 8 movie camera shoots Double 8 movie film and is an early 1960s plastic-bodied camera. It is a quality, wind-up clockwork-driven camera (that takes no batteries) with a fixed-focus f/2.7 13mm Kodak Cine-Ektanon lens. The exposure is set using the dial around the lens.
